The old Altura plant was left in care and maintenance after its purchase until such time as it was deemed the market conditions were sensible to bring it back online. It is now in the process of being recommissioned as it always had poor recovery rates and was uneconomical under AJM stewardship. Hence the lack of paying creditors and liquidation that followed. Luckily the god awful offtake agreements such as Shan Shan died with the old AJM, that plant will now be brought up to scratch and used to supply the BMX site (which you believe will be shut down by China, become redundant as supply comes online etc and will again be proved incorrect) for the next couple of years before being used for a second POSCO style JV possibly in Europe (we all know VUL and co will never supply a drop of lithium to the market, it’s just a marketing tool to seperate fools from their money)
Also good luck to all here, I genuinely hope you all make your money back and more. I actually considered jumping in as I know the board have contacts and expected a bit of a pump. However I just can not trust the management here so I decided against it, just as I did first time round when choosing between PLS and AJM. People just need to beware the rupfels fantasies are far from reality
