Still waiting for an entry point on GQG.
I thought $1.80 looked a reasonable entry point however there is clearly something the market doesn’t like.
This months shake up has a double whammy effect. Firstly, the $ value of FUM drops simply because share prices are falling. Secondly, anticipated net FUM inflows are unlikely to eventuate in a tanking market where panicked investors start reverting to cash.
The question now is whether even $1.61 is pricing in an overly optimistic couple of years of FUM growth.
Those in the know must be adjusting their FUM growth expectations downwards - how else do you explain this sp drop from $1.89 to $1.61 ? ......that’s 15 % - way worse than the overall market.
