The Nasdaq in 2014 fell ~10% during the Crimea issue.
Currently, the Nasdaq is off 16.5% (from it's high) in the space of a month, and prior to any news actually coming to fruition. (i.e. no war has actually started, and no confirmation on interest rates and removal of stimulus has been received - but it will be by the end of this week).
