You cant really compare a tandem and dog running around Adelaide to this operation. Darenpincini is in the the industry walking the walk, so as an (ex)- industry operator Im inclined to support his costing at 13c per km/tonne, with possibly a small discount for the sheer scale of the project.
$30 tonne to get product to a hub (Assuming SA govt supports a hub and port facilities in PA) sounds realistic, but certainly not a project killer where margins are so high. We need to bear in mind also Iron ore is being trucked much further in WA.
