Someone recently described that price movements are like a drunk staggering along an alley. The minute by minute price shows this.

Like any price movement, platinum doesn't just go up, it is up a bit and then down a bit, then up a bit. What is very good news is that it is firmly uptrending when you look at the one year graph.

Maybe I should have said that it will keep drunkenly staggering along in the upward channel, with the next price below the current high.
