    I agree that eliminating religion as some sort of policy is not practical and is really as bad as trying to enforce it by many means such as imposing penalties for abandoning it and the many threats that the religious make to be endured in this life and the supposed next for not following their version.

    If religion is to disappear from the landscape it will do so naturally and teaching a particular version will become less important. In my limited experience, the teaching of kindness and tolerance has increased and has had a bigger positive effect on society than the teaching of particular religions did.

    If your religion places an emphasis and priority on teaching kindness and tolerance then in my opinion good on your religion.
