my previous comments re the MD's charisma or lack thereof attracted some criticism on this forum...

whilst i respect scott's professionalism i maintain that it is necessary to create some degree of interest in a stock from time to time...

thus far btr have announced a jorc figure, of which a min 20% is theirs, which could be translated as having $10 billion worth of copper in the ground at mumbwa...

btr also own a supposed world class zinc deposit in burkino faso...

yet mostly what i am hearing is caution, caution, caution!!! at a given time a MD must become assertive and make something happen! get on the front foot and make things happen for the company! barring an extreme circumstance we are over the worst of the GFC, BTR should be obtaining finance and rolling out the completion of perkoa.

if not, can someone please explain to me how they can expect a third party to pay for the mine to be completed in return for a 45% stake, if btr themselves wont do it themselves....
