Bradda Head has several advantages over AZL.

First, 15 miles is not “adjacent.” The law favors the Hualapai on protection of a specific location, the hot springs. It does not favor them, although some wish it did, on protection of the general landscape and scenery.

Second, Bradda Head can let AZL spend its money on litigation and let the federal courts rule on what can and cannot be done, and where. I think AZL would be allowed to drill in the southern area of its claims, and maybe someone will buy out both those and Bradda Head for a combined operation.

Both companies have a problem with water supply, but both seem confident that there is a way around that problem. Maybe the Bagdad mine will share. They could make as much from water as from copper.

Third, Bradda Head has projects elsewhere in Arizona, and in other states. The better one in Arizona is not on federal land, and even farther from Cofer Springs. It doesn’t need Burro Creek. AZL needs Big Sandy, at least until they change their name to New Mexico Lithium.
