Interesting idea!
do a deal with RAC:
proposal : you personally fund that research group to repeat and expand their positive diabetes 2 research for, say, $100,000, and RAC agrees to pay you $500,000 if the results are positive.
sounds fair…
or RAC could decide the odds are too good and decide to cut out the middle man (you) and fund the research group to do the replication/expansion study themselves.
