Well, I guess I'm not looking at the amount of funding as the significant part, but rather that all dots seem to lead to the conclusion that this research program is likely to be the reason why Professor Peter Klinkin, the Chief Scientist Western Australia, is "in the know" about BrainChip, which would account for him liking the recent tweet as per Fact Finder's previous post below. And, if he knows about it, then, no doubt, many other IMPORTANT AND INFLUENTIAL people will too!
