3-D seismic proves up nothing, it's only a tool to pick targets. I spent 24 years in seismic until recently retiring. It will take at least a year or more to generate targets from the 3-d dataset after completion of the survey. You don't poke $70,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00 holes until you're pretty sure. Until the rotary lie detector goes down, nothing is certain. But that doesn't lessen my positive feel for Santos.
