Dead right, Dr Yonky, everything about the preso impressed. No better way to start the year than with a refresher like that which puts everything into perspective - PTX is the full package. SYC used some fantastic expressions and pulled no punches when it comes to his passion and ambitions for PTX. And talk about being bold enough to suggest that, following the downturn in the broader market, PTX's current MCap represents excellent buying opportunity (or to that effect) - in other words, our CEO sees the company as undervalued as many here already know.
There was so many great bits in the webinar worthy of discussion but I'm just going to rattle off some of the (non-verbatim) statements that resonated with me:-
- I make no excuses for how ambitious we are with our goals at Prescient
- We aim to do for cancer and cell therapy what Apple has done for consumer technology
- Good sleep at night factor with the science behind OmniCAR
- Since November we have attended six conferences and in the last 3 weeks 100 meetings - talking binders, cell therapy and some with own CarT
- We don't want to put a ring on the first person that we date
- Everyone wants to learn about OmniCAR - and its going to yield results
- Avoids the cost of producing more CarT cells when the cancer mutates which normally takes a month and costs 5 to 6 million$
- Safety profile, predictability and controllability opens it up to the entire field of cancer patients and not just the sickest
- The magic is in its modularity / Very unique science / Very rare investment proposition
- OmniCAR is definitely the future
- Delivery of PTX100 for our expanded trial is expected any minute and Prof Miles Darcy is chomping at the bit to get our trial underway
There were a myriad of other insightful comments from SYC that point to what could be a very transformative year. Our enhanced cell therapy program currently in stealth mode that will yield our own IP sounds to be not far off being released. Successful data results from either PTX100 or 200 this year could be a company-changer, which would result in a significant rerate via SP / MCap.
Couldn't have asked for a more compelling or insightful presentation by SYC. Awesome stuff. A must watch when published.
