A very interesting piece of science there. It's beyond my pay grade too, but if Keytruda has this effect it seems reasonable to consider that PD1--vaxx would do the same thing. It would depend on how similar the mechanism of action is.
As the article says, Keytruda can have nasty side effects which would limit it's use in otherwise relatively healthy people. PD1-vaxx would not have that limitation, because of its minimal toxicity/side effects.
There would be a few years of research ahead for the effect to be proven, but it would be far easier to test with PD1-vaxx than with Keytruda - again because of the far better safety profile of PD1-vaxx. I wonder if Prof Kaumaya has come across the same report....
