While none of you are prepared to support an ETS, which is effectively a pricing signal to the market, apparently you believe Rudd should be unilaterally shutting down coal fired power stations and building nuclear power stations, LOL! The government sets the legislative and regulatory environment. The government does not run the power industry. It sounds like you want nationalisation of the power industry so it can be run by the government. That would be a reversion to socialism would it not? Last I heard our country does not work that way. I am so glad you lot have nothing to do with politics! The cynicism coupled with a total lack of understanding of the way politics and economics works on display here is a total joke.
Anyway, why do you advocate doing anything about clean energy, surely you believe the planet is cooling like there is no tommorrow, like everyone else here???
