Let's have a speculation and think about revenue from this contract.

First important point is the price per tonne - I've heard anything from $10k to $20k per tonne as potential prices. Some have estimated lower prices, but that was for natural graphite, and not as premium material… As this is a premium product you would think it could be to the upper end of that spectrum, but unsure at this stage. Let’s go with USD$12k/t to be relatively conservative. Please correct me if I’m off here, going from memory…

This contract is for 5 years, beginning in 2024 with 3000t and scaling up to 12000t by 2027. So, let’s give a linear ramp over 4 years and look at possible revenues:

2024: 3000t per year @ $12000/t = $36mill

2025: 6000t per year @ $12000/t = $72mill

2026: 9000t per year @ $12000/t = $108mill

2027: 12000t per year @ $12000/t = $144mill

2028: 12000t per year @ $12000/t = $144mill

TOTAL REVENUE OF CONTRACT OVER 5 YEARS: USD$504 million

Let’s also assume production of $5000/t (again another figure that has been bandied about).

TOTAL PROFIT OF CONTRACT OVER 5 YEARS: USD$294 million

If this is only a relatively small portion of their 2025 production, and multiply this by a factor of 3 or 4, then we’re talking big bucks…. plus other parts of the business ramping by then...
