I agree, if they didn't do a raising at $14.40, perhaps they couldn't have spent $1.76Bn buying RBS' Asian assets. I'm a big fan of buying them, btw.
(Of course, a cap raising at $18 would have been better for holders, but, that is just with hindsight, and I can't blame ANZ too much for that).
