Heap leaching slowly was phased out in favor of sorting/crushing/milling/floating over the course of about 6 months, starting in late 2020. By early-mid 2021, it was made pretty clear the SS would focus on ore sorting/crushing/milling/floating. This coincided with the bringing RPM into the mix for the initial mine startup, and the accompanying push back in first gold by about 2 years.
