I heard that clarification too about ASIC deciding if an announcement is market sensitive at the CER AGM.

However, I have seen announcement templates on my trading platform for other companies where there is a "checkbox" for the announcing officer to tick if the announcement is market sensitive.

It the answer we got at teh CER AGM was correct, it was only half correct. I believe the announcing rep from a company can make a determination if the information is price senstitive.

I could be wrong.
