Partnerships
Hi Stablegenius,“ICNS enjoys strong partnerships with industry and defence, nationally and internationally.
- In India, ICNS is forging a strong, internationally important, and discipline changing partnership with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) (opens in new window), Bangalore. IISc is India’s foremost postgraduate research institute, attracting India’s top students. The student exchanges and research collaborations between these two world leaders in neuromorphic engineering truly make the ICNS and International Centre. In particular, ICNS has very strong ties with the NeuRonICS Laboratory (opens in new window)led by Dr Chetan Singh Thakur.
- ICNS is also partnering with industry in India on Neuromorphic Engineering projects.
- In the USA, ICNS is working with Defence, in particular with the US Air Force, on the use of event based imagers for Space Situational Awareness, and Adaptive Optics.
- In Australia, the centre has strong and ongoing partnerships with the Royal Australian Airforce and the Australian Defence Innovation Hub. We are a partner in the ARC Training Centre in Cognitive Computing for Medical Technologies (opens in new window), and a member of the Australian Brain Alliance (opens in new window).
Through these established partnerships, our developing partnerships, and our future partnerships, ICNS will realise the impact of its research globally.”
thanks for your response. This is the first time I have come across this info regarding UWS International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems and quite surprised that they say they are a world leader in the development of Neuromorphic Perception Systems.
So was wondering if they have developed their own neuromorphic technology for tracking and recording celestial events etc. which would seem to be the case.
I don’t think they are using BRN tech as they would have to disclose that if that were the case I believe, contrary to what FF believes.
So would be interesting to know how their technology compares to that of Brainchip’s Akida technology.
Their partnerships ….
