Of course there is manipulation but I think often it is very over-stated. Manipulation seems to be the favourite excuse when a stock is not performing as expected. In a lot of cases this perceived manipulation is in fact large traders making money on small rises and falls. I have no doubt this is happening in droves with OBJ. The low share price and value per tick in conjunction with the decent volumes flowing on a regular basis is a haven for the experienced trader.
I have learnt that if someone influential wants to accrue shares, then whether they pay 3c or 5c is irrelevant for them, especially when we are talking about a company that has a marketcap of barely $25mill. This time will come if all goes according to plan, but just a wee bit too early to claim manipulation for the purpose of accumulating stock from the weak.
