people are worried about labour and construction costs rising reducing those project NPV's. Then you have added inflation on maintenance and operating costs. I don't think its bots - I think its a typical DCF with a large negative cash burn period followed by volumes - and given that profile where cashinflows are years off it is highly, highly sensitive to interest rates (in our WACC) and inflation on our cost line blowing out those upfront cost cashflows.
But people like to blame bots. Always easy to blame bots and the man - rather than understanding economics.
