Salty , As a proud Australian I find your comparison between American and Australian mentality ( in business ) to be degrading to us Australians , furthermore your comment made me a little sad , However Salty , unfortunately , I totally agree with you.
When are we going to put aside all of this political correctness , wokenss and stupidity and simply get on with doing business.
The woke attitude of many many Australians including some in the big 4 will eventually drown us all in a sea of stupidity.
It's not just banking.
It has crept into every industry.
Please God ( who ever or what ever you perceive him or her to be ) the banks and the miners will see the light and lead us away from this path of financial and social ruin. If they can not, I do not like our chances of success in the future.
