widespread global cooling, page-44

I might add though it would be nice if we did "solve" both issues together. This would require a concerted and combined effort by all countries. It would require actual plans to be discussed and executed, not discuss how to tax us more. I use the global financial crisis as an analogy. If the global warming crisis is as serious as they say it is, then why aren't they declaring a world-wide emergency and start acting. Examples of things they could do is start building as many solar, wind and nuclear power stations as possible. Then assist countries like China to fix their environmentally destructive manufacturing plants and the like. We also need to build large food plantations to soak up the CO2 and produce more food for the staring population. At the moment I see none of this happening. So much for a global warming crisis. Perhaps they know something we don't.
