This "Reading" of the situation is absolutely spot on!!
AGS went the "whole way" in following their legal obligaions, even shelving out a whole lot of cash when they fully knew they weren`t honestly up for it but had to to preserve their legal rights.
And sorry Smatercard your logic is flawed because the Blues Boys cant afford to let the JV crumble. The more they try to suck us dry, the more chance of them being legally liable for the joint venture "falling over"
Meaning that "ownership" comes back to the original holder of the Lease.
