novice opinion on leak

Having no mining knowledge, this is just a common sense opinion.

Well, if it is an empty well, there is nothing there to leak, so it would have been called a tear or a break.

So if there is a leak, that means "SOMETHING IS LEAKING OUT"
of the tear
