Well, I think it probably would have been those who bought cheap (I agree pretty much with your thoughts then), who don't want to hang around in case production doesn't start on Monday. If it's delayed by a week, SP could tumble to 25c, even lower...
Someone mentioned it was raining, and, if it keeps raining, mining may not be possible. I don't know how true either of those statements are.... but, perhaps that's a risk that some investors don't want to take?
