The needs of the world are too immense, the resource is too good, the local government attitude is as bullish as it gets. MT is hiring people left and right, and seemingly every related company in Lulea is building with Talga in their future-- shipping, research, the mayor, etc.
The forces opposed: 20 green party hippies who would rather have us all in bark huts than with EV cars. They tweet their opinions from their phones all the same.
The realistic worst case scenario is a 1 year delay, which isnt that bad a scenario imo. The best case scenario is sweden fast-tracks to 1 million ktpa anode by 2030. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.
