Btw, in relation to my "questions": (it's not important to know the specifics, but having some perspective and rough understanding is critical imo). A 60kWh battery pack contains roughly 50kg of LCE. At $20k/t (arguably a typical "current" contract price), this equates to $1000 of LCE per battery pack. If the price doubles; $2000 If it triples; $3000 (USD) Upgrading the wheels on a Tesla model 3, from 18 to 19-inch, costs $2200. (AUD) DYOR on factory options for sunroof, wheels, navigation, etc etc on various makes and models. The extra $2k in Li cost if the price "triples from here" is "only" the cost of a couple of common options on most vehicles. IMO it won't significantly delay the EV transition or limit EVs into a particular high-end category. Prices are coming down, every year, as the competition builds and economies of scale take shape. Exciting times! Good luck.

Great insight into Battery constings. If the Lithium input for battery is only that small (i assumed it was larger) then its elasticity to demand will be small. Very exciting times indeed, markets are improving technology faster than ever before. The Future is bright.
