Well Australians do not want to live in small towns, they have had that choice. The most urbanised people on earth. They crowd into cities with insane fear of nature.
Northern Australia, the whole half probably only has 1 million people and WATER. If Australians do not want to live there I am sure one day some will force themselves upon such an empty space.
I just thought people in Sydney and Melbourne would not want 7 million populations so though some areas could grow to 700,000 - 800,000 and reduce some pressure from Birisbane, Sydney and Melbourne so my argument was actually against mega cities but for choosing a region for mega growth rather than ESTABLISHED cities.
Without this sort of dialogue then you get mega cities.
DOH! Small town Australia, yeah right.
