In August of 2020, RFT reported shareholders would receive a dividend of .1 cent (0.001) per share.
That year (2020) they had total revenue of 16,735,000.00
Net profit of 1,822,000.00 (around 10.88% of revenue).
Resulting dividend to shareholders .001 ( . 1 cent per share - around )
Shares outstanding = 1,369.00 (M).
Total Dividend payout = 1,369,000.00 (= about 75% of net profit paid to shareholders)
** Rectifier announcement today (9th Feb 2022): binding purchase order from Tritium for 20 million USD worth of product to be delivered end of the 2022 calendar year. **
So, for the 2023 annual report to shareholders we can expect to see figures something like this:
For the year (2023) total revenue of around USD$20,000,000.00 ( @ current exchange rate that's AU$27,999,048.03 ).
For the year (2023) net profit of around USD$2,176,000.00 ( @ current exchange rate that's AU$3,046,296.43 ).
Shares outstanding = 1,376.00 (M).
^ Note that these 2023 figures are based on only today's announcement and do not take into account any of the proceeds from today's announcement landing in the current financial year (2022).
My questions, for any one that can please help me here:
Was the 2020 financial report (revenue 16,735,000 & net profit 1,822,000.00) in USD or AUD?
Using the 2020 figures where around 75% of net profit was paid to shareholders in that year:
If the 2020 report was in fact in USD then we should expect another dividend in 2022 and/or 2023 of around .118 cents (.00118) per share.
However, if the 2020 report was actually in AUD we could expect a dividend in 2022 and/or 2023 within the vicinity of .166 cents (.00166) per share.
Can anyone confirm whether the 2020 report was AUD or USD, please?
