Syrah will need to mine far more ore to match Talga's higher grade. Extra cost. Shipping around the world. Extra cost. Talga is surrounded by battery factories, no problem for them.
Their resource is large, but how long will it take to extract? At such quantity, battery technology likely will have moved on from graphite before they get even half of that out of the ground. Remember your Group14 that you spammed the forum with for weeks? I thought graphite was already dead... or isn't that happening now? You were also stating that natural graphite has been replaced with synthetic, but then this Tesla/Syrah deal happened.
