Farmers can sit at home and watch the www.bom.gov.au/radar to see it raining everywhere else but their place... as many/most farmers may still be on slow speed dial up, even doing this can be slow and even more frustrating...
Have some relations without housing, some because they just not prepared to pay rent, preferring to consume all their centrelink monies whilst awaiting the Australian taxpayer to build them a place for nothing... Others because the banks will not sign off on the loans to build the houses because the Land Trust Corporations that own the land refuse to provide leases.... shock horror, but giving people leases gives them rights.... and responsibilities....
