So at least, despite difficulties, LAU is not standing still.

Given the Trans Australia Railway (Port Augusta SA to Kalgoorlie, with the Darwin branch line) is yet to reopen following flooding in its eastern secftion, there's a lot less rail freight between Adelaide and Dynon in Melbourne but hopefully LAU containers will start rolling to and from Perth next week. Logic tells me there's a freight backlog as road transport cannot handle the volume:
