(Just between you and me Maxi68 I had to laugh a bit when I read your posts here, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you. But to be honest I am not so bold to predict a RED price of anything beyond $1.00 at this time, for the foreseeable future unless something dramatically happens!).

I won't be predicting a gold price of US$2,000 or whatever (I am scared that saying too much might cause the bloody thing dropping like the oil price did!). But if you note my commentary on the gold price, and how things have changed, probably structurally so that past gold price cycles will not be re-visited so soon (esp "peak gold - the demand/supply change in the past 8 years; the likelihood for continuing US$ weakness in the next several months due to debt/money supply problems and the move away from US$assets by China; the move by Central Banks to be net buyers of gold;India taking China's "assumed" 200 metric tonne gold from IMF) all suggest that we are not going to re-visit gold prices below US$800/oz soon!). Based on those factors we are likely to see gold prices remain at these higher levels for quite a while.

What could affect RED to have a much higher price? MAPAWA, or any other huge porphyry copper gold deposit being discovered on RED held ground!!!

You may recall that RED has very lightly explored some other potential porphyry copper-gold targets within the Siana MPSA a few years ago. That work, over the Madja and Vein 12 prospects was put on hold (despite encountering 0.3% Cu in all holes drilled on each of those prospects) when initial results of drilling were not fantastic and the focus became all about developing Siana. Each of those prospects do retain considerable potential for future exploration.

But in the short term, all eyes will be on Mapawa and the initial deeper drillholes that will be most exciting - and I believe could open up the share price considerably with the right results. Certainly it could very easily trade up beyond 40 cents in a flash if any reasonably long drill intersections were to be encountered in the first holes.
