punters,
i have done a quick reconciliation from top 20 list from 14/09/09 and today's and have found the following in relation to total holdings:
Towners (Mandolin) same holdings but % dropped
Asia Image increased by 20M
aspermont and HSBC decreased by 5M and 10M respectively
NAB increasaed by 3M
alcardo inv, cannavo inv and ucan inv all increased by 2M, 3M and 1.1M respectively
new additions include UBS 7M, yarandi inv 5.3M, citicorp 5.2M, johnny venpin 4M and lucie Sun 4M
so it appears as though that out of the 120M shares issued, just under a quarter can be accounted for from previous top 20 and another quarter for new additions in the top 20, which leaves around 65M shares unaccounted for...could bell potter have subscribed to them themselves and then allocated to its countless retail punters??? the overhang will be huge if that's the case.
