    Thanks for all the help and advise, I have tried Mcafee/AVGfree9 both with no avail as the freddy75.exe kept showing up.

    I have just tried Avast! 4.8 and that seems to have searched and destroyed the Freddy along with about 4 other trojans/worms!

    I am going to look further into this just to be sure.
