    @Justis

    Even with just a tile off your roof, especially near the ridgeline on a hot day, your can feel the hot air coming out, no if buts, maybe's.
    I have changed more than enough tiles over the years, to know this. (S... of a job lol)

    Cement tiles are worse than clay as the cement seal better, not buckled etc like the clay, hence more trapping of the heat.

    On this new house (no birds yet lol), in the upstairs passage from the main bed to the ensute there is a manhole.
    One day the electricians left this man hole cover off and by jo, was there some heat coming down from it.
    Hence W/Birds will make a huge difference. (Metal roof and almost black).
    Insulated directly under the sheeting and the ceilings (double insulated).

    I have to wait until we get some serious rain to wash the dust off the roof, before I install some W/Birds.
    Otherwise I will end up in a heap on the ground, due to the dust, pitch etc.
    It's a Volley job (shoes).
