Towner still has around 50 million shares...bet hes as glad as you with the new crew coming in - his holding went up by $250K today. Youve got to hand it to him, hes managed to get some pretty commanding ground in the on shore Perth basin, and i think they will end up with 70% of the Xanadu permit.
Cant help but think this was all a bit of a set piece. Look back at the history and you will see Towner and his mates got onto the board via set piece.
The Pilot deal was no good for TEG. So it was good news for TEG that Pilot cancelled. TEG may get another shot at it, with more favourable terms.
The new crew looks like they're the right guys to make something of this. The Mt Horner story has got a long way to go, as has Cliff Head and Xanadu West/Texel.
