The iron ore in ground value would be different for each individual company based on various factors. They include, the quality of the ore, the size of the resource, and most importantly how close they are to production. As the various boxes are ticked the in ground value will go up with it. Therefore the fact that most of the risk has been taken out of BCI through to production means that its in ground value will be higher than a company that is nowhere near production.
