Bolivia is too scared to modernize and Chile will nationalize it's mining assets, a point I think Rio picked up on when making its move into Argentina. Bolivia will remain a backwater for years to come and Chile will scare off investment with its tax penalties. I know I steer clear of HCH for this exact reason. Argentina is benefiting from a pro foreign investment Government and we are in the right place, right time. A poster stating Rio could come knocking for Pablo to do a deal on AGY's technology via a joint venture agreement is a distinct possibility IMO. RIO spent years on manufacturing a module processing plant, in Australia, for hard rock in Europe, that is now defunct as they move into brine's. Pablo will save them a lot of time, money and offer success as they would not have the expertise to start from scratch.
I believe we are being watched closely. When the first sale of Carbonate from our 2tpa plant is complete so is proof of scalability and negotiations will start in earnest. IMO.
Lithium from seawater? I remember the same thing being said about Au years back.
