It's not a competition! We all have different ages, incomes, retirement plans, risk levels, debt levels etc.
I use a lot of debt to purchase FMG shares, and use the dividends to pay off the debt. Many people would have no appetite for this but it is a decision I have made.
No need to judge yourself against anybody else, just like I don't change my feelings if people have more or less than me!
As long as we are all happy and healthy and investing towards a better future that's all that matters
I reckon 1000 FMG shares will be pretty damn valuable in a couple decades!
