One of the newest and smallest nations in the world celebrates its independence today. Kosovo unilaterally seceded from Serbia in 2008. This act of independence has only been recognised by around half of the UN's 193 member countries. Serbia is not among those to accept it, instead viewing its rogue neighbour as an "Autonomous Province". None of the local breakfast options I could find were very exciting, unfortunately.
