Don't know JC midas. There is no doubt they stuffed up initially. They asked for a two day trading halt believing
that there was agreement and they would get a signiture promptly and announce promptly.
Something went wrong. Maybe they have fixed it maybe not.
Sometimes companies go into a trading halt because info about a deal has got out early into the market and this has created an unfair trading market where some know more than others. In cases like this where a halt is forced on a company it is usually followed up by a voluntary suspension cause the deal is not closed.
In the case of WHN it did not happen this way at all.
WHN had already advised the market that a contract is being settled .. they said 4 weeks from announcement and the whole market knew and we had fair trading. The trading halt would have been timed at WHN's discretion and would have just been for closure and writing of an announcement.
The halt turned into suspension because something went wrong. May be fixed now may not.
