Just watched an older video from 2018 explain the Maarti-5 well drilled 30 years ago into the Alameda reservior (down flank from where Alameda-1 is)

They drilled only in the day, stopped at night. Drilled heavily overbalanced. Due to the political situation, drilling stopped for a year with the hole left open. After all that, they were able to do a test and still were able to recover 44 barrels of 24 API crude from the carbonate reservior. Hence why the whole idea is to go after this prospect from the get go. Samples taken from the leaking well site in the 2000's found it to be 32 API. A second sample later found it to be 38 API
