@Parsifal - I am sorry you feel so estranged from this thread that it compels you to view it via your super-sensitive personal microscope and detect flaws which are not obvious to most of us. Has it occurred to you that it might just feel a little strange to have you come in as an 'objective observer' on this thread, relegating us to become some kind of 'insect species' to be looked at and commented on?
If you think that's an exaggeration - pls consider what it feels like to read your 'insights'. If I were to take your comments seriously, I would not post at all -
Why do I post? I believe it serves me well to have a group of friends whose comments I like to read and who also like to read what I have to say. I also believe certain persons on this thread rely on all of us to come in daily and share some thoughts, maybe trivia, maybe our daily lives. Pathetic, yes, but it seems to be part of modern life. I also own some shares and look at the general threads on here as well.
Back to your comments: You are assuming that certain 'structures' are in place. I think it's pretty free-flowing and there are means to silence a voice, you may not wish to hear; - for example: I don't like one particular poster, mainly because he doesn't like me, so I never read his posts at all, never respond - if I did acknowledge his existence, I would become like you: just a little obsessive about the why and how of his position, the fan worship that's going on, why does he need it etc. - these self-same things happen in real life, and we either 'take the Mickey' and utter a swear word or two, or we choose to remain silent.
