Yes I guess you've got to set your goal & strategy for each investment you make and have in mind your investment horizon based on your conviction about the fundamentals of the company and likely tailwinds/momentum. You've probably had all this in mind when you bought so perhaps check yourself to see if it's still valid. You'll make adjustments for the future and all you can do is learn.
