church priests etc, teachers, esp. the religious teachers, police, politicians and lawyers are 5 categories of occupations that paedophiles seek. the tendency of paedophiles to look for work in fields where authoritarian discipline where their authority might go unquestioned is very broad.

having said that most paedophiles, statistically, are parents or close relations/friends of the family.
