    @Dazedandconfused ..." Have l got that right? " No. If it was all eroded away they wouldn't have found the small pods they have found, it's just mostly eroded away. It's highly possible the other mines in the area came from slightly deeper mineralising events, and if another 100 million years had passed they might have also eroded away, while that time might also expose some mineralisation that is currently too deep to detect or mine.

    I'm talking about what SGQ have found so far for this area, and the source of this particular mineralisation. All we can go by is the evidence presented, which IMHO clearly shows the ultramafics getting thinner the deeper they drill and further East and West from the Investigators, Stricklands and Cathedrals shallow area.

    Not only didn't they find any ultramafics in S1, the DHEM didn't show anything either, so very possible the ultramafics in the fault have pinched out by that depth.
    The S1 results made me go back and check prior announcements, all the way back from 2016, because it made me curious as to how thick the ultramafics were in different places/depths. It's quite enlightening to find it all.
