The company has two options IMO.
    1. Wait it out and hope that a future government will overturn the Uranium mining limits. (The people of Greenland voted in a referendum to essentially reinstate the Uranium ban. Any future government that wanted to abolish the Uranium ban would not be too popular IMO).
    2. Move on and cut their losses.

Option 2 is the smart move IMO.

All this talk of GGG suing the Greenland government is ridiculous. The Greenland government could simply reject the exploitation license application based on public sentiment toward the project which amounts to no social license, a prerequisite to being granted an exploitation license. Its clear from the referendum that the people don't want companies mining Uranium in Greenland, even if its being extracted and processed but not sold just to get to the REE's.

No company would invest in a project that has so much bad publicity moving forward (except maybe China) and no one is going to force the Greenland Government to do something that goes against the wishes of its people IMO. Anyone that believes the Greenland government will be bullied into approving the project just because its "too big to fail", really needs to take a good look at themselves and their investment strategy.
