@investor_jackson you are spot on. You have to ask a hard question as to why they are giving an "interim" update two days before the call itself.

Sooner or later someone at Zip HQ has to realise repeating the word "record" ad nauseum isn't actually going to do anything for the SP - but the overall tone of this announcement is far more sombre than in the past. In my opinion, the M&A with Sezzle is simply an acknowledgement that they need to scale - and achieve big cost-cutting synergies - super fast. People quoting Warren Buffett on this thread have lost touch with reality; his quotes only apply in the correct context... a company like Zip is not that context.

I do not normally put a 'Sell' sentiment as I feel that unnecessarily riles up holders and destroys useful dialogue, but in this case I only see Zip going lower - so if I was in this, I'd be protecting capital from here. Good luck.
